Today i'll touch on the main points. Today's topic is "Love His Body His Church". Read passage from Ephesian 5:25-32. 1 John. I'll be putting up the verses tomorrow.
Firstly, we must know that church is within us and we are the church. Secondly, what is the problem loving church? - we tend to be believers not belongers - we are more of consumers not communers Thirdly, who loves His church? - Jesus loves her that He gave his life - Church is the only body that will last through eternity - Holy spirit indwells and deposits in His church (1 Cor 12:18) Fourthly, how do I love my church? - Affectively - Build it - Carry burdens - Encourage - Forgive - Give - Honour(Heb 13:17) - Pray for Lastly, how should I express my commitment to Him in His church? - Serve - Build relationship with others - Make time
