Time for some preaching again. Yesterday i was rushing my reports so didn't managed to put this up. And today's topic is surviving the shake. Let us look at Hebrews 12:26-27. In that verse, it says that whatever can be shaken will be shaken. So what are the things that can be shaken? I forgot. =D What form is this shaking take? It can be crisis, traumatic experience or even darkness of the soul. Then why God allows shaking in our life? It is to make known to us what was in our heart. This hinders our obedience. It is to humble us. Let us know not to be self centred, self serving, self determining and self confident but rather to be God centred, kingdom serving, choosing His destiny and confidence in God's promises. In Deuteronomy 8:2, it teach us that man does not live by bread alone but by every word of God. Physical food is not the only thing we need. we need spiritual food which is the word of God. With this 'food', we can follow His way of living a perfect life. How can we survive the shake? Know God's heart and hold fast. Keep your faith 1Tim 1:19. Don't give up Genesis 33. Put your trust in God.
